Maria is a compassionate, client-centered therapist with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a wide range of emotional and relational concerns. She holds a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University, where she graduated with honors.

Maria brings a strong foundation in attachment-based care, trauma-informed practice, and nervous system regulation. Her clinical background spans community mental health, school-based services, outpatient therapy, and leadership roles, allowing her to meet clients with both depth and practical insight. She has worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family dynamics, life transitions, and high-acuity emotional stress.
In addition to her clinical work, Maria has served as a clinic supervisor, supporting and mentoring other clinicians while maintaining a robust caseload herself. She values collaboration, ethical practice, and creativity in therapy, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs and strengths.
